Words bite. They hurt more than physical blows. External hurt disappears after some time but the wounds that words leave linger on and on. It’s very difficult to erase them from your heart- some cruel words get permanently engraved. So choose your words carefully, choose them wisely, because, words once uttered cannot be taken back ~Latika Teotia

O Lord, fill my heart with compassion, let me be gentle and kind. Let me not ignore those that need my help. Make me overcome my fears, turn my weakness into strength and help me discover my hidden strength. Give me the wisdom to differentiate between good and evil. Let me welcome each day with hope and happiness~ Latika Teotia
We are strong if we value the lives of others and are sensitive towards their feelings. The truly strong person will always care for the weak and vulnerable.

Let your love be the answer to all unkind, harsh, heartless, hurtful and callous situations. ~Latika Teotia
Many issues can be resolved when you take out time to listen to others with an open heart. ~Latika Teotia
Deal with hatred by responding with love. Don’t retaliate. ~Latika Teotia
The poet HW Longfellow famously wrote, “If we could read the secret history of our enemies, we should find in each man’s life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility.” How true! We have no idea what the other person is going through. More often than not, their anger, though directed at us, has actually got nothing to do with us. It is their frustration that is manifesting itself through such actions. Forgive them, send them love and move away. ~Latika Teotia
Do not be in a hurry to criticize or condemn someone; try to help and heal instead…~Latika Teotia
O Lord! May we always feel your presence around us. Make us strong so that we don’t fumble and tumble. Give us the serenity to pray before we fret and lose sleep over anything. Fill us with purity of heart so that we don’t think ill of others. Give us tranquility to listen before we speak. Give us the courage to stand up for what is right. May we always have compassion for those not so lucky. May we have enough to give in charity. And above all do not forsake us, O Lord…
