Be truthful in all your dealings !!!
There are times when we tell lies not because we want to or because it’s our second nature; we hide the truth because we don’t want to hurt or offend the other person. The cause of our dishonesty, therefore, is not our nature but our respect or love for the other person or persons. What we forget is that the basis of a good relationship is not fear but mutual trust, faith in one another and love. It’s better to be honest and speak the truth rather than hide behind a veil of lies. Sooner or later, the other person is bound to know the truth. Imagine the feelings when it is discovered that it wasn’t love but fear that was the cornerstone of your relationship. So be truthful in all your dealings with your loved ones; it’s better to suffer a temporary disappointment rather than a permanent crack on the mirror. ~Latika Teotia
