Spread the message of love and peace !!!

I am not in favour of suppressing freedom of expression or gagging the media but I’ve been increasingly feeling that we must play down a few things. More we talk of crimes, violence, unrest and so on the more the chances that these will increase.

Take a look around you, there is so much negativity being reported that one feels that only violence, crime, unrest and so on exist in this world and that there is no peace and tranquility. The mind works in such a way that people indulge in those things that are reported and so we see all around us that crimes have increased; rapes are increasing, shootouts are frequent, news of murders and killings occupy the front page and so on. So what’s the way out?

Well, for starters at least YOU can stop spreading news of crimes, violence and so on. Your focus should be on spreading the message of love, peace, harmony, honesty, unselfishness, charity and so on. It may be a small drop but at least it’ll be a beginning.~Latika Teotia

Make optimism your way of life !!!

Don’t let the virus of negative thoughts come into your world and wipe out the hard disc of your life; stay positive. Make a promise to yourself that you will steer clear of anything that brings a frown on the countenance- yours or someone else’s.

There are millions of ways in which you can spread joy as well as cheer. Follow that path. Start by putting a smile on your face first- that small curve can make a big difference in your life and in the lives of others. Think of good things only and banish the ones that pull you or the others down. Talk of good things, not bad; always talk of health, happiness, cheerfulness and prosperity. Look at the glass half full, not half empty; see the good side of everything.

Vow to stay optimistic, and make every effort to live it as well as make it come true. Make optimism your way of life. Make your friends as well as family feel special, show them their strengths, wipe out their negative thoughts. Be thrilled, excited and enthusiastic about their achievements as well as successes. Be good, do good and you’ll find that this world is a good place to live in.
