Don’t miss the larger picture !!!

We have been so conditioned that we are just not able to look beyond our immediate surroundings; same goes for our lives as well, we tend to be so caught up with our daily routine that we don’t see what lies ahead and plan properly for the future. The result- we miss the larger picture and just go through life like robots. It’s high time that you learnt to look around, there’s so much to see and enjoy. Learn to appreciate nature and what God has given you. When we were born as human beings one of the gifts given to us was the gift of appreciation- something which was denied to the animal kingdom. So look up, look around and you’ll realise that life and this world have much more to offer than what you were noticing. ~Latika Teotia

When we love someone, their biggest mistakes appear very small and we just ignore them. Treat everyone that way- especially your immediate family as well as your close circle.

Since you love them, put the petty things out of the way. Ignore smaller issues and don’t be ready to sermonize at the drop of a hat; no one likes to be ticked off. In your own house too, it’s better to ignore small irritants like someone leaving clothes crumpled in the cupboard or not putting the sofa cushions back in place or leaving used cups on the table or not cleaning the washroom properly after themselves or not leaving the remote control in the proper place and so on. It’s better to set it right yourself rather than spoil their mood or their day by pointing out or by making them set it right.

Remember, no one is deliberately triggering you; they just don’t realize their mistakes and with the passage of time they will surely come around to what you want- give them time. Even you may be having many faults which are so obvious to others but they are not pointing it out because they love you and would rather lose out on ego than on relationship.

Love people as they are , ignore small issues and I guarantee that you’ll stay happy- as also make others happy . ~Latika Teotia

God’s simple Blessings are nothing short of miracles. That rain drop trapped in a leaf, that glistening dew drop which has just caught the first rays of a new born sun, that sweet song of the Nightingale, those beautiful woolly clouds with their unique designs (have you ever noticed that clouds never make the same design twice- and we humans struggle to draw something new or write something unique), the pit pit patter of the rain creating a music of its own. These are but some of His Blessings that make me look up in awe at our Creator. So caught up are we in our daily lives with our monotonous routine that we fail to notice the millions of miracles happening all around us. Pause. Look around. Notice. Feel. ~Latika Teotia
