Loneliness and depression !!!

It is only human to long for emotional support and there’s nothing wrong or demeaning about it. Loneliness is a major cause of depression and leads to negativity; thereafter it is downhill all the way. In such times people need emotional support of someone who believes in them. Seeking or accepting support during these times is very courageous and a positive step. In fact it is the self affirming support of family & friends, that pulls out people from depression and restores self confidence, self esteem as well as self belief. ~Latika Teotia

Motivate yourself !!!

We experience bouts of depressions at times. Those are the times when we feel that we just want to lie low or become invisible. There’s nothing wrong in that. We are after all human beings. But to remain in that state forever is not advisable. Get up, get over it, pick up your life and start living once again. You have it in you, so chin up and cheer up. ~Latika Teotia

You don’t have to feel disappointed with yourself for not being able to alleviate the suffering of others. There are some things that are just beyond us. But what lies within our reach is to empathize, to love, to try very hard to be a good companion, a good listener and above all a good human being. That’s what we can do and that is what we must do. Sincerely love those who need us and show genuine care to them. Commit yourself a hundred percent to your relationship- give it all that you have. If you can do this you have done enough and that should give you a sense of satisfaction. ~Latika Teotia
