Be a doer not a bystander or an onlooker !!!

If you wait for circumstances to become better you may have to wait for a very long time. Catch the bull of opportunity by the horns and make the most of it. Don’t just be an onlooker or a passive person, be a doer. Opportunities come knocking for all, some seize the moment while others wait twiddling their thumbs not knowing what to do. That is the difference between success and failure; between hope and despair. Those that fail are the ones who procrastinate and the successful ones have been quick on taking decisions and actions. Be a doer not a bystander or an onlooker. Act, don’t procrastinate. ~Latika Teotia

Do not lose faith when life gets tough !!!

When crisis emerge , most of us become so hard  on ourselves that we start hurting those who love and care for us the most. We get tempted to give up on our purpose. We begin to compromise on our values . We get into wrong company or relationships or else build walls around us…

It is okay for the time being to get discouraged, disillusioned or disheartened but the first thing which needs fixing is “OUR ATTITUDE” .

I know it is very difficult to remain positive and calm in such times ‘But’ we have to consciously try our best to stay strong by building faith in God. We might not be able to change our circumstances but we can for sure cooperate with God and have patience. Maybe God is rearranging our lives and it is taking us where we need to be. Let the light of our faith in the Lord be our guiding light .

Last but not the least, we should  not lose love for  our loved ones  and most of all love for ourselves. Be believing !!! ~Latika Teotia

Be resolute and stay focused !!!

If your heart is bent on accomplishing something and you are determined to achieve it- come what may- then, no power on Earth can stop you from achieving it. It may not happen immediately but eventually you will be able to make your dream come true. So don’t give up; be resolute and stay focused. It’s those that dream to fly who grow wings.~Latika Teotia

Contentment !!! Happiness !!! Peace !!!

Happy persons SEE joy in everything; they don’t go SEARCHING for it. They see God’s miracles and learn to enjoy them. The flight of a bird, rainbow in the sky, fluttering of butterflies, children playing with gay abandon, an old couple in the park enjoying their togetherness, sunrise, clouds in the sky, a clear sunny day or the rhythm of the falling rain, and so many countless things fill them with joy.

Happy persons aren’t necessarily the rich or the famous ones. They are content with what they have and are delighted by even the smallest thing. Learn to enjoy what you have instead of hankering for more. Don’t be overly concerned about the past and don’t be anxious about the future either otherwise you’ll not be able to enjoy the present. ~Latika Teotia

Don’t overstretch yourself, be grounded, have faith !!!

We worry too much about the future and the unknown with the result we forget to enjoy our present. We pay too much heed to trying to be a ‘know all’ and thereby end up confusing ourselves. Let it be. Don’t overstretch yourself, be grounded, have faith and let things unfold themselves. Don’t try to control things and don’t be overly concerned about what the future holds. There is joy in unexpected pleasant surprises. There is so much that life has to offer. Accept it. Trust God and His mysterious ways to lead as well as guide us. ~Latika Teotia

Self motivation !!!

Motivation by and through others alone isn’t sufficient to keep you going because it vanishes when confronted with big unexpected challenges. It may keep you going initially for a few months but doesn’t last very long. So what should you do???

Self motivation and belief in your own self will see you through. The belief in your own self earned over the years facing challenges big and small makes you confident of taking on all kinds of challenges as well as tackling every situation. ~Latika Teotia
