Prayer For Caretakers !!!

Filled with tons of love, I am sending virtual hugs to all those who are “the Caretakers”. I absolutely understand and can relate that how difficult it becomes at times to remain positive, hopeful, compassionate and kind, because of excessive stress, overwork, low energy level, tiredness, overconcern, etc. In such situation, to raise the vibrations, we should practice gratitude, mindfulness, meditation, reciting mantras/ affirmations or cleansing.  In short, we have to raise our vibrations to bring back the positive energy and loving vibes.

Give Yourself A Break !!!

Despite knowing since our childhood that we must ALWAYS look at the positive side and never be knocked down by adversity or difficult circumstances… yet there are times you want to be your true, frightened self and just huddle into a corner to cry it out. It’s okay. Do that,  if it makes you feel better. At the end of the day you have to do the picking up of your own battered self. The earlier you get out of your distressed, hurt/ injured self,  the better. At the end of the day, only you can bring yourself back to life. So here’s to you and your new life… ~Latika Teotia

God Provides And Takes Care !!!

I’m sure most parents of differently abled children will agree with me that  these children helped us in evolving in a soulful way & made us more compassionate. We learnt so much in this journey of taking care of our differently able child. We also realised that God is never unfair- if closes the door He opens a window. He compensates by blessing these children with super powers like patience, compassion, understanding, peace, even happiness and lets them retain their innocence. He gives immense strength and hope to the parents of children with special needs.  Yes, we parents do get anxious when it comes to the security and care about our child after us- it is but human to do so. In such anxious moments, we should have full faith in God and believe that He was, is and will always be there with our children. He will find ways to extend His mercies through somebody, somehow. Thinking about the future we shouldn’t waste our precious moments with our children. Till we are around, fill their little world with hope and joy and be sure, their future will be taken care. We shouldn’t forget that God provides and takes care even of the smallest living being…~Latika Teotia

Simplify Your Life & Create More Freedom !!!

When you try to define simplicity, you tend to straight jacket it into a laid down structure thus imprisoning yourself and tying yourself into knots. I decided to throw myself into the chaos called life and suddenly I found it was so very simple. Don’t look for definitions, directions just follow your heart… it’s as SIMPLE as that!!!! ~Latika Teotia

Don’t allow your past to mess your present !!!

Hanging on to past traumas of any kind will make you lead a miserable life. These thoughts will cage your wings and imprison you in your own misery. The day you release yourself from your past, believe me, your wings will take you to greater heights.~Latika Teotia

Trust God and Practice Patience !!!

In these trying times when the only thing that is certain is UNCERTAINTY,  we must not lose patience. Yes, these are chaotic times, but, remember out of chaos is born order. Do not shy away from donning a new _avtaar_ by rising from the chaos and reinventing yourself. Do not resist- it will only result in pain. Smile and sing your way through life- that’s the only way to survive and come out stronger at the other end. ~Latika Teotia

We change-life change !!!

When you feel that life’s being unfair to you and that no matter what you do you still wind up on the wrong side of everything,  then you should do a bit of introspection and try to reach the root cause of your troubles. More often than not, you’ll find the cause lies within. It could be your negative thoughts or the tendency to give up easily or maybe you have a defeatist attitude or a combination of all the above. Once you find the cause, taking corrective measures will bring about a sea change in your attitude and your situation.~Latika Teotia

Practice Gratitude !!!

You can choose to be happy or miserable- that choice depends entirely on your own self. You don’t have to look far to find happiness; the first step is to count your blessings and express gratitude for them. One should never compare oneself with others; and if at all you want to, then do that with those beneath you or those who are less fortunate. If you can see (even though you may have to use glasses) then you are luckier than those who are visually handicapped and who would give their right arm to be able to see even from one eye. If you can hear, talk and walk then you are luckier than those handicapped on account of these. So next time you are feeling sad, down and depressed, just carry out this small exercise- count your blessings. Before long you’ll have enough reasons to feel uplifted and happy. ~Latika Teotia
