Choose your words carefully !!!

Words bite. They hurt more than physical blows. External hurt disappears after some time but the wounds that words leave linger on and on. It’s very difficult to erase them from your heart- some cruel words get permanently engraved. So choose your words carefully, choose them wisely, because, words once uttered cannot be taken back ~Latika Teotia

Make sure that people don’t take you for granted !!!

Don’t let others take you for granted and trample you under their feet. They may take your forgiving nature as a sign of weakness. Don’t live under the false hope that if you forgive them, they may perhaps understand you. Therefore, don’t hesitate to tick off people and tell them that you won’t give a second chance. That you won’t hesitate to block them from your life. You are important!!! Give importance to yourself and others will follow suit.

Are you living with an emotional abuser???

Don’t ever allow the fear of losing a relationship cause you to submit to being controlled or manipulated. Any relationship worth having must be one of “Mutual Love, Respect & Understanding”. Don’t give in! You are “well-able”. Don’t let anyone play upon your supposed “weaknesses” God has given you wisdom to run your own life. So, you don’t really need anyone constantly telling you what to do and what not to do. Know Your Worth !!! ~Latika Teotia

Words can make or mar a relationship !!!

During a fight  you can diffuse the situation by saying, “ you have every right to be angry” but——–,  instead of saying,“ you are getting angry for no rhyme or reason”. Or by saying, “ Let me rephrase what I want to say”, instead of bluntly saying, “ you are not listening to me.” Remember words can make or mar a relationship. ~Latika Teotia

Take more chances !!! Dance more dances !!!

Don’t be afraid of what could happen or that you may end up in pain if you took a chance on love or life. If you don’t take the plunge you may lead a safe life but it will be drab one. Life is too short to let it just pass by. Grab those short but beautiful moments which may lead to lifetime memories. As Garth Brooks famously sang, “I could have missed the pain but I’d have had to miss the dance.”~Latika Teotia
