I don’t want to be stuck in the past remembering (and regretting) all that had gone wrong and be scared of facing the future.
So, O God, please give me the courage to get rid of my fears as well as insecurities and let me face the world boldly. Make me believe in myself so that I can take a positive step towards my growth. ~Latika Teotia
At times we get caught in the web of negativity. We see dark clouds everywhere, nothing seems to go right, whatever we touch appears to wilt and we feel that nothing will ever go right again. Happy times appear to be behind us and all this starts reflecting in every area of our life.
It is precisely at times like these that we must learn to let go and move on. It could be your job where nothing seems to be working well for you- maybe you have a bad boss or unhelpful peers or uncooperative subordinates. It could be your relationship where no amount of stoking ignites the fire of yesteryears. It could even be your neighborhood and a bunch of too inquisitive or plain indifferent neighbours. Or it could be anything of this sort. In these so called gloomy periods of your life, learn to take a step back, look at your situation with detachment and before long the solution will stare at you in your face.
The earlier you decide that nothing is worth spoiling your peace of mind the better it’ll be for you. Change that uncomfortable job- if you can; say goodbye to that relationship; move out of that neighborhood or ignore them and likewise decide to get rid of anything that’s taking away your peace of mind.
The moment you decide to move on a huge weight lifts, you are filled with new found energy and you feel motivated to take on life once again. Things start falling into place once again and you begin to feel that life will be even better than before. All you have to do is to have the courage to change direction and fly. ~Latika Teotia
Never treat failure as final and don’t think that it’s the end of the road. Take lessons from it and learn. Failure is also a step towards success- provided you take it in the right spirit. Instead of brooding over what’s happened and losing sleep as well as peace of mind, learn to rise and come out even better.
You will have setbacks; that’s a part of life. It could be death of a close one, a mishap, a rejection, a breakup and so on; these are mere distraction or interruptions nothing more. Take them as just a small deviation from your chosen path; and don’t give up or give in.
This world is replete with examples of people who have risen from repeated failures or started very late in life. The one thing that is common in all such cases is, they had the desire to succeed and just refused to give up or give in. So have the will to rise and the courage to face all situations. ~Latika Teotia
Courage knows no boundaries, bravery knows no limits, boldness wins the day. Fear tends to restrict, imprison and freeze one in its grip. Dare to be bold, dare to be brave, have the courage to stand up for what you are and you will enjoy the freedom to soar high. ~Latika Teotia
Instead of retaliating learn to respond. Have the courage to accept your flaws and the serenity to face, correct and overcome them. If someone fights with you, make that person see reason. Respond with love to those who hate you. Do not condemn those who oppose you. The world is a beautiful place and you have but one life. Don’t waste it. Aim for peace of mind. ~Latika Teotia
Courage is doing what frightens you but you do it anyway.
The best way to move on is to, first and foremost, break away from the past or from the relationship or whatever that you want to move on from. Unless you make a clean, complete and surgical break you will find it very difficult to move on and rebuild your life. Have courage, be brave. ~Latika Teotia
